Just 24hrs to go...

The South Florida DX Association is very  proud  to be hosting the DX Forum
at this year's Miami Tropical Hamboree on February 1st.

 We are pleased to announce the Speakers for DX Forum on Saturday morning in
 the Playhouse:  Al Hernandez K3VN , who has been on so many terrific
  DX-Peditions its hard to name them all, will speak on the recent  ZL7C
  DX-Pedition. We will hear the first presentation of that highly successful
  trip. Second, we are proud to have Dan Street K1TO, President of the
  Florida Contest Group speak to us about his recent unprecedented third win
  of the WRTC event in Finland. We will also have a presentation from Bill
Moore NC1L regarding any new updates from the DXCC Desk.

 We also will give away some fantastic prizes (*) thanks to the following

 And back by popular demand, is the "Gathering of Friends," a.k.a.
  the DX Dinner, and this year it will be in association with the Florida
 Contest Group.

 Dinner will be at the Casa Paco Restaurant private party room located on
 8868 SW 40st, just few blocks away from the hamfest (HAMFEST CASUAL ATTIRE,
Great low
 priced food too and a course plenty of Cervezas).

 Dont miss The DX "Happy Hour" Cocktail Party in our private room at the
  restaurant from 5:00 pm until 6:30 pm, and DXCC cards will be checked
 before dinner starts promptly at 6:30 pm. If you attended last years feast,
you
 sure know that this is an event that you cannot miss.

  Even if you can't stay for dinner, come to the Cocktail Party and have an
 807 (or a 4-400A) with your friends.There will be several great door prizes
given  out during the cocktail party
 and through out dinner as well.

 There is no fixed dinner menu or minimum price - order what you want from
 the Cuban menu (yes, it's in English and Spanish) and you pay for your
 separate check.
