[SFDXA] Annual November Meeting of the South Florida DX Association

Hear Ye...Hear Ye...Hear Ye....!

The Annual November Meeting of the South Florida DX Association will be held
next Wednesday at the Hospital Meeting Room ( OId Florida Medical Center on
Oakland and the Turnpike.)

The Festivities begin about 6 PM for those that want to join us for dinner
and chat before the meeting. Donation is $7.00. Proceeds to the Club thanks
to Ed WB4HNM. This gives everyone a chance to Brag about who they worked
before the Annual DXCC Yearbook is sent out. It is also a last chance to
explain why your totals from last year weren't what you said they were.

A short business meeting is needed for choosing next years Officers and
Board.

Gil W1RG is going to do a Presentation on his new Fully Remote Tunable Yagi.
He has pictures and the cuts to prove he really did install it.

The Main Presentation will be provided by Bob Broderick WE4B. Most of you
know Bob from his technical activities at Eli's Amateur Radio.

Bob is going to show us what is going on locally with IRLP. Outlined in CQ
some months ago and now very active in Broward County this is the Ham Radio
and Internet links you have all heard about. Bob will be showing us what is
going on and how we can enjoy it also.

So bring your friends. If you do not have any, this is a chance to make
some.
