Hinds County supervisors on Monday put off taking action on the Emergency
911 Council's denial of Jackson's request for an $8 million change to its M/A
Com public safety communication system.

The Board of Supervisors will consider the issue at its May 16 meeting,
after Jackson's primary elections May 3.
Supervisor Charles Barbour said he wants to wait until after the election
because a new administration might want to move in another direction.
