[Scanner] Service docs for Bearcat 250?

Hi guys -

I would like to fix a Bearcat BC-250 scanner for a friend and found it has 
some components smoked on the corner of the synthesizer board near a TIP-29 
transistor.  I can't make out the values of the damaged parts, and the wiring 
seems to be a modification of the original PC board.  Service docs would be 
great help...

Does anyone know an online source for a scan of the service manual or just 
schematic for a Bearcat BC-250?   Failing that, anyone have one to copy or 
scan ?  Thanks!
