[ScanIndiana] Uniden 996 Firmware Update

Right on, Bob.

Before upgrading anything (scanner, computer, toaster, etc)  I always
make sure I know what this latest upgrade will offer me in terms of my
needs.  If the answer is "nothing", then why upgrade at all?  I could
see downloading the file to the computer to save it for a later
upgrade, but there is often a cost to being on the "bleeding edge",
and that might very well be a non-functioning scanner.

If you've saved the proper files, is there a way to "downgrade" the
firmware once you complete the upgrade process?  Does anyone know?
