Hello & Holiday Greetings to all,

What would be the most reasonable way to go with a scanner with the new
Safe-T and D-star or what ever MECA will be going to, I want to monitor but
I don't want to have to mortgage the ranch to do it.

Thanks in Advance
Terry

Hi Jay. I'm thinking pretty seriously about picking up an ICOM IC91AD.
I've been reading about the system in general, and it sounds pretty
interesting! I'll probably wait until after the holidays to let the bank
account heal a little, hi hi.

Hello Ken,
Your right on the freq. 443.900 and it is on the air....RX
is pretty good down here in greenwood....I know they are talking about some
changes for it since the antenna they are borrowing on the tower is close
spaced and provides a shadow to fishers /noblesville area. Been quite a
bit of chatting going on about it on 900 mhz... so buy a rig and join the
fun. I have to sell a few things on E-bay before I purchase one...but I
will probably be on there before Christmas.............catch ya on the
digital side...73 de AA9YP Jay

The reported output frequency of the repeater is 443.900. I'm not sure if
it's on the air yet, or not.

Bear in mind, it is a digital repeater, so without a D-Star compatible
radio, I'm not sure what you'll hear.
