The short answer is no.

You will only receive traffic from the towers that your Pro-96 can receive
(i.e. the closest tower sites to your location depending on what you are
using for an antenna). If you are just using a handheld duckie antenna,
then do not expect to receive anything beyond 20-30 miles depending
on surrounding terrain. If you are using an outdoor antenna then distance
will increase with antenna height. Evansville is well out of range from 
Danville
even with an outdoor antenna at 50 feet.

Start by programming in the control channel frequencies to the tower 
sites closest to you
and see which ones you can receive.
