Every news media outlet, everywhere?  I seem to recall seeing PRO-2096's 
in all of WISH-TV's microwave trucks.  But I might have been seeing 
things.  But still, if Uniden is what they want to use, then that is 
what they should use.  But why would someone buy a scanner based solely 
on what someone else gets?  Sounds like a person who is more concerned 
with maintaining an appearance than making an informed decision.

They never miss anything?  WOW!  Why even turn on my scanner then?  I'll 
just sell everything on ebay and get a subscription to the Star!  ;-)
