Hi Rob, thanks for your input but if you are going to buy a "Professional Radio" that the News Media uses everyday in the newsroom and you know that the radio will preform that way it it intended to do I will put my money on the Uniden line of APCO 25 radios, Again I own 15 of these radios and I use them everyday for my employment.If you will look at the Indianapolis News Media Ch 6,8,13,WIBC, They all are using the Uniden line and you can program them by hand of by Computer. When you need to get your infomation as to why, what ,where, when and how I get this from my fleet of radios everyday including my Uniden Bc-250 D that I carry with me on the weekends and my Uniden Bc-796D that I have in my car.
