It never ceases to amaze me how much misinformation is implied in these 
MECA/SAFE-T announcement articles:

"Avon police officers now must change radio frequencies or use a 
telephone to communicate with neighboring departments..."

And once they are dispatched by Plainfield on MECA this will happen by 
magic?

Or will it be "Avon police officers now must change [talkgroups] or use 
a telephone to communicate with neighboring departments"?
