Hi All, I  have a question regarding the "Federal Protection Service"
operation.  This is the Security channel for the Federal Building in =
Indy.
When hearing traffic on their channel, it sounds like the dispatcher =
says
"Mega Center" or something like that to identify the dispatch center.  =
Also,
the dispatcher will refer to the units as "Indianapolis", and then =
whatever
their unit number is.  What I am wondering is if, through some federal
"streamlining", have the dispatch centers for the Federal Buildings =
around
the country been consolidated, or at least regionalized?  It definitely
sounds as if the dispatcher is not local.  In fact, this morning I heard =
the
dispatcher call for a "Battle Creek" unit.  I figure they must have =
punched
up the wrong button.

Just curious to see if anyone has the "real story" on this.
