I am looking to buy a new scanner handheld or desktop is not an issue, I want
to scan the following counties
Hendricks = all law enforcement, fire, EMS, EMA & Ham Nets.
Morgan = all law enforcement, fire, EMS, EMA & Ham Nets
Marion = MECA = fire & EMS,
Johnson = Fire & EMS.

I know some of these are conventional and some are trunked is there a medium
price range scanner that will do conventional and Trunking at the same time?

right now I run 1 trunktracker for my MECA and another for my conventional
freq's as my TT will not do both at the same time it's either one or the other.
their both getting old and have not been turned off in years so I think it may
be time to invest again. I am a novice and don't want to spend a great deal
although I do want a dependable, easy to use scanner can any one on this list
offer any suggestions.

Thanks in advance

Terry Hoover
