The Pro94 and 94a were not made the same way, the Pro96 was developed with
the ability to upgrade the DSP software by the user and/or store (basically
anyone with the programming cable.) There will be no need to send the radio
away.

Why? RS has already stated publicly they are working on an update that can
be downloaded by owners for CQPSK!
