My post did not say it would not work
on MARCS in its current form. It said MARCS
will eventually become a Phase 2 system
and the Pro-96 would not work on it when
MARCS upgrades to a Phase 2 sometime
in late 2004/early 2005.

However that is moot point now.
Radio Shack is currently working
on having an update available so that
the Pro-96 will work on Phase 2 / QPSK-C
systems. According to a store manager here
locally in the Cincinnati area the update will
be available in  3 to 4 weeks.
