Well.....
Since the 96 will not work on 9600bd QPSK-C modulation, which
the BC296 and BC796 will, I'd have to say until RS comes out
with a firmware fix, I'd have to give the nod to the Unidens.

But, if you don't have any QPSK-C systems, the Pro 96 will work.
