In response to the model number:
   the mobiles were M/A Com Jaguar 725M
   the portables were  M/A Com Jaguar 700P

   the THFD portables looked the same as the 700P
   I have not seen a THFD mobile unit

Last time I listend the THFD transmissions were
analog, but that was right after the transition
to the new equipment.
