For the sake of new list members I should occasionally mention police
simplex update pertains to virtually all police agencies inside Marion
county (and one or two in Johnson county also).  Most or all of it is
illegal due to lack of licensing and/or use of non type accepted equipment.
The FCC was contacted in August of 2002 and receives updates as well.
Eventually all illegal activity cease.  Until that time I post new
frequencies as I find them.  Listening can be interesting and informative.
