While at the local deli on my lunch a couple of weeks ago I noticed a morgan
county sheriff with an frs radio clipped to his shoulder.  I don't live in
morgan county (but rather down in monroe.. in Bloomington, I simply work
there sometimes) so I was wondering if anyone in the morgan county area
monitors frs and has noticed police 'tac radio' type transmissions?

If using these for tac type radio's.. is this legal?  is frs only for
personal use?  another thought that crossed my mind is possibly he was
working security for a local store (walmart.. etc) and they used frs radios
for in-house comms?  Anyone seen this before?
