my guess, based on what you guys are pointing out, is that motorola is gonna
have to implement some type of signal reconstruction algorithm into their
digital systems. Y'know, something that'll 'guess' what that guy just said.

Is there something like that on analog systems?

least in part, not happy with the new system.  Mostly the same complaints
that you hear about other digital trunked systems, such as Greenwood.  As
for the "massive test", that was a large scale disaster drill.  I didn't
monitor the digital system and I haven't heard any feed back so far, so I
don't know how well it actually worked.  Motorola still says it can get this
squared away so we'll just have to wait and see.
