[ScanIndiana] Scanner Listners are Thugs

Where I live, in Noble County...I know of several
times where the criminals used a scanner while
breaking in somewhere. I know of at least twice where
ciminals used BOTH a scanner and HT radios to talk to
each other. Kendallville PD now uses Grid #'s for
their patrols, because af a rash of break-in's
involving people with a hand-held scanner. Noble
County makes extensive use of cell phones because of
people breaking into places with scanners.
