[ScanIndiana] Scanner

I was once harassed by a Sheriff's Deputy while
walking around my own apartment complex...he said it
would be pretty easy to go get a permit, but when I
went to the Sheriff's Office to get one, I was told by
the Communications Director that he doesn't give out
permits to anyone that's not a Reserve Cop,
Firefighter, Ham, or member of the Press...

But if I were any of those things, I wouldn't need a
permit, would I?

HOWEVER...I was once in Indianapolis, pulled right up
next to a cop at a light, had my PRO-2067 sitting
right on my dash, and he didn't even bat an eye at
it...

Seems to be a matter of personal preference on whether
or not the cop enforces it...
