I've had my HAM license since 1994 & really enjoy the hobby.  If you take
the time to read the study guide & take a sample test on-line, you'll see
how easy it really is!  I had my scanner first & happened to find the HAM
bands one night.  After listening to a weekly net for a few weeks, I was
hooked & decided to get my license.

On a side note for anyone that will be submitting frequency info to IndyScan
for the 500...  We need the info as early as you can get it to us.  We have
a lot of commitments that weekend & most likely will not be able to add last
minute frequencies the night before the race (like we usually do).

Also, I just got word from the Editor at Scanning USA that he's reserved a
Uniden Digital scanner for me to review as soon as it's available.  We'll
have something on IndyScan & a full users report in Scanning USA.  Tentative
date is Nov/Dec of this year... Hey Matt, I'll be heading down to Johnson
County to test it out.
