BTW ... it looks like they bought their way to the top of the search engines as well. When you do start doing Google Foo on them, or the search engine of your choice, they flood the top levels of the returns.

The ad didn’t say anything about the fee. It’s on their website in the FAQ if you dig deep enough. Misleading at best since they say no subscription fees ever.
Also, they use multiple service providers, but if you’re not in anyone’s coverage area then the radios are not going to work.
It’s too bad that they are misleading, because otherwise the concept behind these radios is interesting.
