[Scan-DC] Uniden SDS 100 SDR scanner

Hi Bob - if you want to listen to simulcast p25 sites, yes, the SDS-100 is
a big improvement in most cases.
Excels at 7/800 mhz p25 scanning, the best scanner for that job
not quite as good at VHF conventional
never ever use the belt clip to carry it, get an aftermarket case

for things like air band and conventional systems, I do prefer the Whistler
TRX-1
I also have a Unication G5, that does perform a little better than the
SDS-100, specifically at monitoring the Maryland FIRST system, but it can
only do that one thing (one system at a time, no other types of scanning).

I also have an SDS-200 that I use mobile with the GPS,  the GPS really
makes it great to use, as I move from place to place, sites come on and
off, for efficient scanning and getting relevant local information.  I
think you can get the GPS for the SDS-100 as well.
