I heard PG's snow plows "regularly" last winter (for the fraction of in of
snow that we got) on one of "The Bus" talkgroups if I remember correctly. I
think I submitted that to Dave S for RR, but I'll have to go back and look.
... Just checked my RR submissions: the PG plows were using TG 3023 last
winter.

Subject: [Scan-DC] Snowplows, where are they?
It's been awhile since we had a good snow. And I miss Mike Agner's old
snowplow freq list.
In any case, has anybody figured out what freqs the snowplows use these
days in and around the D.C. Beltway?
I ran Pro96Com on STARS's Arlington site for much of the day. The only
hits were the two main VSP TGs and two alternates, the VDOT Safety Service
Patrol and just a hit or so on the TOC talkgroup.
On the Maryland side, I don't get much reception at all for FiRST yet
inside the Beltway... and I assume the 47 MHz channels are gone, right?
In D.C., I have not heard much from DPW in years other than a few oddball
talkgroups on the trunked system that do not get much use.
I didn't bother checking for the county plows but I should try that later.
Are these plows all using PoC (PTT over cellular) or another technology?
Thanks,
Alan
