[Scan-DC] Older scanner repair

I am going through repair withdrawal, so for the Month of April. You pay
the postage of sending your scanner to me both ways and I will repair it
for free. If it needs parts I will likely have them onsite, if not you pay
for the part(s) I will need or you can have it back at your postage
expense. 1994 or later only please unless you send me specifics about
something older via email beforehand. (free estimate).

So where will you get a free estimate and repair if it's something simple
and all you pay is postage? You email me the problem and pics where needed
(display/model) and I will tell you whether it's worth fixing. Bear in mind
these radios on Ebay will sell to collectors for almost the original cost
if working and cosmetically looking good.

I am a repair guy, I wish I could afford a good condition DX-160 on ebay
(really). I only collect unusual model scanners or full coverage ones (or
close) PRO-2004 etc.
or take junk radios for parts.

As to fleabay radios, check out  the prices for some of these analog
scanners. I have owned most of these and now just like the models or
repairing them, not looking to make money. Ole Heathkit tech revisiting his
youth perhaps .......:)

Heck don't throw them in the landfill, I can recycle the parts!!!!
