Hi Greg,
A couple of things -
- This is a scanning hobbyist group, politics make it difficult to focus on the issues.
- Note - The officer’s family claims he died of an unrelated malady. No firearms were confiscated from the trespassers. Many of us have the same concerns regarding the use of mass geolocation for identifying those who attacked the White House, burned down a church, and destroyed homes and businesses across the country.
- You’re right, immediate use to save a life is an excellent use. Mass use that indiscriminately intercepts communications is a very powerful tool that can be misused; it’s worth keeping track of it.
