[Scan-DC] SDR

A good few years ago I played with a cheap USB SDR dongle. I had some 
success, but my interest waned. IIRC I had problems getting the software 
to work.  Since we have a pandemic and a snowstorm coming I'm looking 
for a project.

So the question is what software/hardware are folks using for SDR? Since 
I'm a ham I'd like to hear about SD transceivers too.

Is any one running an SDR on the web for public use?

BTW my latest prediction is for 0 to 24 inches of snow, some of which is 
a new shovel resistant mutant strain....
