[Scan-DC] Carry mag mount antenna in carry-on luggage?

I still occasionally fly with all sorts of radio paraphernalia in my carry on, to include HTs, antennas for them, and the occasional small parts kit that probably looks very suspicious under the X-ray machine.  I have never been stopped for that stuff, though I sometimes get stopped for caring a digital camera and they ask me to turn it on.
