[Scan-DC] Has anybody tried the Citizen app?

Great. Based on that article, in the short run it sounds like a way to make
a few bucks by listening to scanners. In the long run (or not so long), it
gives public safety organizations even MORE reason to encrypt. Farther out,
this kind of thing may be all we have once everything is encrypted.

For anyone further interested, the New York Times just ran an in-depth
article about it - including how people were at one point paid to stream
video from incidents.

Baltimore is covered and they are apparently adding more soon. But yes, DC
and surrounding areas have zero coverage essentially. I like the premise,
though.
