I can remember Henry Gibson in the Blues Brothers. That must have been the late 70's.Sent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

Can anyone ascertain what radio wasinvolved in the movie? For that matter let's get real here. When was thefirst movie that had radio scanners being used to either listen to the PDor scanned by the good guys to beat the bad guys? No CB good buddy stuffallowed in the answer to the question. Strictly radio scanners in moviesand what type and why?To that end the movie "Die Hard" comes to mind. Kenwood TH? used by JohnMcClain to listen to the bad guys on their channel to get a leg up on thetake down. Isn't it about art imitating life? or such? Think that was a 2meter rig masquerading as a business band or such radio. Comments?OK, ambulance chasers beware and all that but it's sort of fun seeing thehistory Channel using "Project Blue Book" as a vehicle to bring back acirca 1962 Zenith Transoceanic as a direction finder in a car LOL as Dr. J.Allen Hynek cruises around trying to track down numbers stations...to alingerie shop. Artistic license taken to the extreme perhaps.KJ4DGE______________________________________________________________Scan-DC mailing listHome: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/scan-dcHelp: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.htmPost: mailto:Scan-DC at mailman.qth.netThis list hosted by: http://www.qsl.netPlease help support this email list: http://www.qsl.net/donate.html
