[Scan-DC] JNCD Fort Detrick Site

Just when I wrote that I listen to Fort Detrick police sometimes and that
their operatiosn are pretty routine, I awake from my presidents day nap
with a flurry of scanner activity with a shooting call on Fort Detrick.

It was an accidental shooting, self inflicted shot to the foot with a 9mm,
with the fire department duty officer saying that it was a security
officer.  Medics are talking to the loal hospital on med 4 to see if
they'll take him or want to divert to a trauma center.

I guess that is the thing with those routine channels, when it isn't
routine, it's going to happen without warning.
