[Scan-DC] Federal DMV monitoring question

I have a short external home-brew antenna on a bamboo pole outside the room
I rent in Leesburg VA. I am hearing quite clearly USSS uniformed embassy
encrypted traffic on occasion, Ft. Belvoir, WRMMC, Washington Navy yard and
other JNCR traffic from here I should not be able to hear from my location
75 miles west of DC. Does the NCR have remote receivers in this area for
extended coverage? I am guessing they do.
