Hard to believe that these phones are so vulnerable still.  I remember the 60 Minutes report on Signaling System 7.  Is that what this NYT article is referencing or some other technology?

Calls made from any cellphone — iPhone, Android, an old-school Samsung flip phone — are vulnerable.
