[Scan-DC] Recommendation for antenna installer on vehicle?

Thanks everyone for the recommendations! Going to get the XYL mentally prepared for this idea. I've been looking at images of antennas on first-responder Explorers. Looks like the general trend is taller antennas toward the rear, for aesthetics. Now the hard part is where to mount the radio on the inside. There's not much room up front on modern vehicles.
