[Scan-DC] American Diabetes Association Ham Radio Support

Hello Group!

I am coordinating the Ham Radio support for the ADA Ride on Saturday May the 13th. The Ride begins in Reston Virginia and runs thru Loudoun County. 

We are in need of a base station out in Rectortown, Virginia at Claud Thompson Elementary School and a few SAG operators. We have a few Drivers but need Radio Operators to ride along.
We plan on using VHF Repeaters so an HT with extra batteries would work but for the SAG’s an external antenna would be needed.
