USPP Receives Replacement Helicopter 



Washington, DC – The United States Park Police has received a replacement helicopter with anew look. This 2003 Bell 412EP (Eagle 2) helicopter will be operational in the WashingtonMetropolitan Area beginning on Monday April 10, 2017.


Eagle 2 will fly approximately 250 flight hours before going in for required maintenance andreceiving a more traditional paint job. It will take a minimum of six months to reach the requiredhours for the maintenance.
