applies in general to Virginia's Illegal Use of Radar Detector law.**

**FYI regarding the "VASCAR signs (Aircraft used to patrol for speeders) 
signs you see frequently when travelling around Virginia on interstates 
with occasional cross painted white stripes no longer are valid.  The 
General Assembly ceased funding for VASCAR approximately 10 years ago 
because of the additional expenses, requirement for dedicating usually 
four vehicles to a pre-planned VASCAR event and not being cost effective. **
