"New radios for Danville police, scanners don't pick up frequency."
Wrong! That is not a correct statement. Scanners certainly can "pick up
frequency". Unless the "private" mode for each trs is selected, anyone
with a DMR MOTOTRBO/NXDN home receive system, like I configured three of
four years ago, can monitor three target frequencies at one time. It can
get noisey at times but they work. If someone has a NXDN radio for
monitoring possibly the entire trs per license could be monitored. Two
licenses are for eight trunked frequencies per license (probably police
and fire) and five trunked frequencies for one license (probably ems).
Selected licensed frequencies are in the 453 and 460 mhz. There were
three FCC trs licenses granted for Danville City. All were for NXDN
(4K00F1W only) trunked. They are WQWU446, WQWU959 and WQWW659.
