[Scan-DC] Old portable phone frequency

I use an old 49 mhz. analog baby monitor to extend my reception of 
whatever I am listening to on the internet or my scanner or whatever 
inside my house.  I place the transmitter unit close to the computer or 
audio source output speaker.  I take the small 9VDC battery powered 
portable receiver anywhere in my home or if working outside it has about 
a 300 ft. solid reception range which is the rear end of my property. . 
The actual reception range probably is a few hundred feet more.  I've 
been doing this for years.  It works great.
