1. I have had WPMS844 frequencies in my database for Cedar Grove Farms
since 1998. In my opinion, Dave Wilson does have a legitimate basis for
curiosity. For example, one of the two 153.5225 mhz. licensee's
repeater's locations is in King George Co, VA. The second 153.5225 mhz.
licensee's repeater is located at 5200 West Broad Street, Richmond, VA.
That location is the main Dept. of Motor Vehicles (DMV) building, which
is approximately 50 air miles SSW of King George Co. The build out for
that particular repeater location was completed and operational in Nov
2014. That then begs the question "why is a second private sector
repeater to the same licensee additionally installed on top of the main
DMV building in Richmond, VA?" To me that is a public/private conflict
and not a typical "farm use" installation.
2. I have no interest in debating the issue and won't, but like Dave,
raising this example as an item of interest.
