[Scan-DC] New secure channel for MCFRS

Jeff,
It's been a while since I've listened to MCFRS directly, rather than via the
Internet, but I think that 72D is a TG for consults, rather than just simple
transport notifications. This TG is under the control of the Maryland
Emergency Medical Services' (MEMS) Emergency Medical Resource Center (EMRC).
EMRC acts as a "traffic controller" for consults between the EMS units in
the field and the appropriate medical facility. (It also records the
consults, if I remember correctly). It does this statewide. So, I'd guess,
every EMS unit and hospital in the state would have to have their radios
encrypted in order for 72D to go encrypted.
I may be all wrong about this, of course, but I'll bet Joe Bradley, who's on
this group, will know.

What about 72D?
That's where I hear a lot of hospital consults.
