[Scan-DC] Fw: Letter Composed to the CEO of United Airlines

You caught the key phrase.  It's pretty clear that it was NOT in his carry on, but visible and most likely in his hand.  It would have made more sense to have asked him to put it away, just like laptop users are asked to turn off their computers on take off and landing, but I understand the airlines caution given today's world situation.
