[Scan-DC] Question about Maryland DNR police.

Hello,

 

I am trying to understand how the Maryland DNR police radio system works.  I
understand that the state is divided in to regions and certain regions cover
specific counties.

 

So, PG is listed in the southern region.  When I see the frequencies in
radio reference I see a repeater and then frequencies for MC followed by
cities.  What does MC mean?  Should I be listen to the repeater or the MC
for main dispatch for an area?  Thanks for any help.
