[Scan-DC] SDR and signal amplification / quality

I have been using Noo Electric dongles, and playing around in VHF to
compare sound quality and signal strength. I hadn't tried the aluminum case
or up-converter. I will try playing around with some of those suggestions,
and probably start with a little tinfoil.
