[Scan-DC] The demise of the DIY electronics shops

Greg, there was a Heathkit store over in NoVA somewhere, wasn't there?  Falls Church sticks in my mind??  I'm from Montgomery county and used to to the one on Nicholsen Lane in Rockville... There was a guy who worked there named Jim Dove; did you know him?  Always wondered what became of him... post-heathkit he had a little shop in damascus md called, I think, 4 county electronics...<br/><br/>Heathkit had some good stuff... I still have one of those digital clocks... One of the displays has a burned-out segment; oughtta get it out and try to find the part for it!<br/><br/>Regards,<br/><br/>Doug
