[Scan-DC] New Alexandria DASH bus line

As long as we're on the subject of test trains on the Silver Line....

Alexandria's DASH service will finally have an AT9 line. I saw a notice on the AT3 I took home yesterday evening. Service will start on July 28, but DASH is making test runs now. They hired a bunch of new drivers. (One of them, I thought, could use a little extra training on the concept of pedestrians in crosswalks.)

The line will run from Potomac Yards west to the Shirlington Transit Center, Bradlee shopping center, and beyond. So don't be surprised if you hear drivers on that line. It's really there, just not for passengers yet.
