Hi Andrew!

Curious if you had also tried programming the control channels in your radio 
in conventional mode?  Then when the trunked signal disappears, try to 
monitor the audio quality?

Does the problem involve just one of the control channels?  I have chronic 
problems with my BCD396XT and the Butel software rounding off my freqs. 
Reading the radio back into the computer, does it look ok?  Are all four 
entered as trunked channels?
