[Scan-DC] update on St Marys County encryption - public forum

I have received supportive messages from several of the county 
commissioners in response to my letter asking for their help in ending 
full-time encryption of police radio traffic on the county's new P25 
trunked system.  The commissioners will be holding a public forum this 
Tuesday evening during which the issue of encryption on the new radio 
system will be discussed.  They have invited those of us who care about 
this issue to attend the forum and speak.  I will definitely be there, 
and I hope that many of you will join me. Please spread the word to 
anyone who may be interested.

The forum will be held on Tuesday, September 10 at 6:30 PM at the 
Northern Senior Center in Charlotte Hall.
