[Scan-DC] What to do with OLD CELL PHONES?

Give them to kids as toys. No one over the age of 8 is going to be impressed with anything that old, but pre-schoolers might like them. Hand them over to a church for its rummage sale, where they could be sold for 25 cents each, or even given away. If the Li-ion batteries are good, you might be able to reuse them in other devices. If nothing else, the phones might make good clocks.

We have a box of cell phones, all "dumb phones" that need a good home.
Any suggestions other than the donation box at Whole Foods?
Any Scan-DCer want them or need carrying cases?
Let me know!
Alan
